Scene-It: Summer Edition

I'm a busy girl... and since my free time is spent going to country concerts, reading the Twilight novels and (of course) going to movies- I haven't had time to post in awhile. So, if you're the kind of person that spends your summer days out in the sunshine and not in a nice air-conditioned movie theater :) then you've probably missed out on the summer movies and so I am here to tell you what is worth seeing and NOT seeing. Here we go:

BEST Kids Movie of the Summer:

Despicable Me
starring the voices of: Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Will Arnett, Jemaine Clement and more hilarious people.

I included one of my favorite clips "It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!" :) rather than the trailer; which you can check out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_rUbqbhUEQ

Tagline: Superbad. Superdad.

Plot: When a criminal mastermind uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, he finds himself profoundly changed by the growing love between them.

This movie was so hilarious that it's surprising how profoundly heartfelt it is as well! Steve Carell plays this character to perfection and has you caring about his story as much as you would a Nicholas Sparks character. The "minions" are exceptional; they don't really SAY anything, but you'll laugh at everything that comes out of their mouths. This movie was nothing like I expected it to be and probably the best unexpected surprise of the summer. For not even having kids, that's saying a lot. So, whether you're headed out for a family night or a night out with friends- Despicable Me should top your list of "must-see" movies!!

A Close 2nd for BEST Kid's Movie:

Toy Story 3
starring the voices of: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, and Michael Keaton.

Tagline: The Breakout Comedy of the Summer

Plot: The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

If you're like me- you were SUPER excited to see this movie (because the first couple rocked) but were thinking there's no way they can keep up the brilliance of the first two installments of the Toy Story franchise. Well, they did. I quote Toy Story 1, sing the songs from Toy Story 2, and well- Toy Story 3 tested out my tear ducts. :) It's a great franchise and one that shouldn't be missed. If you haven't seen the first two- DEFINITELY play catch-up. Then go see Toy Story 3 ASAP! This movie really does go to infinity and beyond all your expectations! (Ken & Barbie are brilliant- seriously)

BEST Summer Comedy:

Date Night
Starring: Steve Carell & Tina Fey

Tagline: An ordinary couple. One little white lie.

Plot: In New York City, a case of mistaken identity turns a bored married couple's attempt at a glamorous and romantic evening into something more thrilling and dangerous.

I love a good comedy! I love to laugh! However, I'm picky. My "Comedy No-No" List includes: don't overdue the vulgarity or language (when the bad language, drug use, and sex references get over the top- it stops being very funny- that's why Hot Tub Time Machine is out of the running); don't be too much of a chick-flick (don't get me wrong- I enjoy my chick-flick comedies, but you don't win for comedy if you're too much of a chick-flick- that's why you won't see Killers or Bounty Hunter here, but they might show up later); don't parade as a comedy and then be super bloody and semi-serious (that's why Kiss-Ass: The Movie did not make best comedy); don't use funny people from The Hangover and the not be as funny (that's why Dinner for Schmuck's didn't make the cut- though I admit that's a personal hang-up; I don't think much is funnier than The Hangover); and finally- Don't be a political statement (The Other Guys was really funny- it almost made the cut).

Anyway!! Date Night was hilarious. Good fun. Go on a "date night" and enjoy this movie. I love the Hangover as a comedy because it also has a good story-line; Date Night is comedy in the midst of a really good story-line. Check it out!

BEST Mind-Blowing Film of the Summer:

Inception
starring: Leonardo Dicaprio, Joseph Gordon Levitt, and Ellen Page.

Tagline: Your mind is the scene of the crime

Plot: In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job till date, Inception.

Brilliant!!! You may be tired of reading a million Tweets and Status Updates that read: "Going to see Inception" or "Inception = Brilliant" but the reason those updates are so prevalent is because EVERYONE is amazed by how good it actually is! A movie that actually lives up to it's hype. It doesn't matter your genre preference, this movie will blow your mind and bend your mind in ways you didn't even know your mind could bend; your mind will be way more flexible after this movie :) ANYONE can see the originality and brilliance that comes from the mind of the great Christopher Nolan (Christopher, you have made it up into the ranks with my favorites- Chris meet J.J Abrams and M. Night Shyamalan) :) See this movie- your imagination will thank you!

BEST Summer Superhero:

Iron Man 2
starring: the one, the only Robert Downey Jr.

Plot: Billionaire Tony Stark must contend with deadly issues involving the government, his own friends, as well as new enemies due to his superhero alter ego Iron Man.

What can I say? I love Superhero movies (I'm a nerd at heart) and I love me some Robert Downey Jr. When he said "They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far," in Iron Man 1, he stole my heart. Anyway, this is a fun movie with a lot of comedy and action and it's just a good time. I recommend it!

Honorable Mention: I haven't seen A-Team yet, but REALLY want to- so it could have won this category (i mean, really any movie that features Bradley Cooper abs deserves a WIN)!

BEST Twilight Film of the Summer:

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
starring: Robert Pattison, Kristen Stewart, & Taylor Lautner

Tagline: It all begins. . . with a choice

Plot: As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob.

Ok, Ok... so there was only one Twilight movie this summer so it's unfair to give the movie it's own category- but I never said I was fair when it came to Twilight-related things :) I will say that many people will tell you that Eclipse is "the best of the 3." More romance, more action, more love-triangle, a closer adaptation of the book, etc, etc. I agree with all of this, but being Team Edward, the Jacob part of this installment really gets under my skin- so I'm not objective. Anyway, my advice (as always) is READ THE BOOKS. Then, when you love them as much as I know you will- see the movies just because you always need more Twilight- NOT because they are amazing films of even because they follow the books so closely (which they don't! fine, the story-line is the same, but they leave out SO MUCH!) I know, I know- I digress. It really was a good movie. Check it out (guy or girl!) but AFTER you read the book!!! :)

BEST Chick-Flick of the Summer:

The Bounty Hunter
starring: Gerard Butler & Jennifer Aniston

Plot: A bounty hunter learns that his next target is his ex-wife, a reporter working on a murder cover-up. Soon after their reunion, the always-at-odds duo find themselves on a run-for-their-lives adventure.

Let's be honest- Gerard Butler being in this film was the main reason for it's win in this category (I wouldn't kick him outta bed for eating crackers). However, even being a non- Jennifer Aniston fan, I really enjoyed this movie. It's cute, charming, witty, and has a decent story-line with some action for the boyfriend you drag with you to see it. Killers was a close 2nd, but despite it's great cast it was kind of a poor man's Mr & Mrs Smith, ya know? Anyway, Bounty Hunter (which is now on DVD) is a great date night in- grab your couch, your popcorn, and one of those great sweatshirt blankets and be charmed by Gerard's adorable mug.

Honorable Mention: Letters to Juliet / I admit that story-line really didn't go beyond an extended version of the previews and the romantic lines were a little too cheesy, but it was clean and cute and fun and I liked it.

BEST Nicholas Sparks movie of the Summer:

The Last Song
starring: Miley Cyrus

Tagline: Do you ever really forget your first heartbreak?

Plot: A drama centered on a rebellious girl who is sent to a Southern beach town for the summer to stay with her father. Through their mutual love of music, the estranged duo learn to reconnect.

I gave Nicholas Sparks a category because he's had two out already this year- but I hated Dear John and I like to cry in movies! But, onto The Last Song...

Don't count this movie out just because it stars Miley Cyrus and her no-name boyfriend that made her quit Twitter :) Seriously, it is a heartbreaking and beautiful story about family and first loves. I really enjoyed it! Just like all Nicholas Sparks' movies, bring a box of tissues and someone who won't make fun of you when you get all weepy :)

BEST Summer Scare:

The Crazies

starring: Timothy Olyphant

Tagline: Fear Thy Neighbor

Plot: About the inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.

Seriously, this movie is CRAZY!

MOST Cringe-worthy Film of the Summer:

The Back-up Plan
starring: JLo

Tagline: Fall in love.* Get married. Have a baby. *Not necessarily in that order.

Plot: A romantic comedy centered on a woman who conceives twins through artificial insemination, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day.

Soooooo... if you're a mother of 12, had your baby in a tub, or are a doctor- this movie MIGHT not gross you out. But, it probably will. Not only did it have one too many "cring-worthy" moments, but it just went too far to be funny. However, I also feel that way about Meet the Parents. I just don't like movies that take it too far. It could have been a "cute" story if not for being way over the top in all areas.

BIGGEST Let-Down of the Summer:

Salt
starring: Angelina Jolie

Tagline: Who is Salt?

Plot: A CIA agent goes on the run after a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy.

I have to say, it's sad to have this movie under "disappointing" because I think Angelina Jolie is "bad a--" even in this less than stellar movie. But the sad truth is that it felt like it had been done before. I was expecting this movie to blow my mind and it was just the feature film version of Alias, but not nearly as good :) It's an okay action movie and was entertaining, so I'm not saying "Don't See It." Just don't expect too much like I did. Sorry Angie, can't win 'em all (but Mr & Mrs Smith is still one of my FAVORITE movies!).

Movie to see this Week:

Ramona & Beezus

starring: Selena Gomez, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Duhamel, and John Corbett

Tagline: A Little Sister Goes A Long Way.

Plot: Follows the misadventures of young grade schooler Ramona Quimby from Beverly Cleary's popular children's book series.

Blast from the Past!!! I just think this movie is going to be absolutely adorable! Plus it has an awesome cast! Let me know what you guys think of it and I'll do that same!! Meet you back here next week!!!

Scene It: RedBox Edition

I have been renting more movies lately, thanks to the genius of dollar rentals from the Redbox. They haven't all been good- but, they're cheap enough that I don't care :)

The Movies I have "Scene" most recently from the Redbox:

Everybody's Fine
starring: Drew Barrymore, Robert DeNiro, and Kate Beckinsale

Tagline:
Frank wanted the holidays to be picture perfect. What he got was family.

Plot:
A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children.

Everybody's Fine is a drama about family; the things that drive us apart and the things that bind us together. When Frank, played by Robert DeNiro, realizes his four children have drifted away from him since the death of their mother he sets out on a trip to reconnect with each of them. The story is weakly driven by the secret whereabouts of one missing son and the other three children's attempts to hide what they know from their father. At each stop, Frank's children obviously lie to him about their brother and the status of their lives. Afraid their father will be disappointed with the lives they chosen and who they've become they all send him on his way as soon as possible. So, what can bring this disjointed family back together? Where is Frank's missing son? What are the children's lives really like? If you're really interested in the answers to these questions, then check out Everybody's Fine. This movie was exactly that, "fine." However, if you have another option, I would opt out of this weak film.

Love Happens
starring: Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart

Tagline:
Sometimes when you least expect it... [Love Happens]

Plot:
About a widower whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru. On a business trip to Seattle, he falls for a woman who attends one of his seminars, only to learn that he hasn't yet truly confronted his wife's passing.

Love Happens is a great mix of "tear-jerker" and "romantic comedy." Not one to usually enjoy Jennifer Aniston movies, I [surprisingly] would recommend this film. After widower Burke, played by Aaron Eckhart, loses his wife he writes a book to help him through his grieving process and ends up a best-selling author and self-help loss guru. However, Burke might not have coped as well as he lets the world believe. After meeting Eloise, played by Jennifer Aniston, Burke learns that he has to take his own advice and that dealing with the loss of your loved one takes a lot more courage than helping others deal with theirs. Comedic events come alongside heartbreaking moments to help you laugh through your tears in this film. More a story about a widowers journey than a cheesy romantic comedy, this film has a wonderful story-line. My recommendation: watch with comfy blanket and a box of Kleenex :)

I Hate Valentine's Day
starring: John Corbett and Nia Vardalos

Tagline:
She had him at get lost.

Plot:
A love story set in Manhattan, where a florist who abides by a strict five-date-limit with any man finds herself wanting more with the new restaurateur in town.

I Hate Valentine's Day reunites Nia and John from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. This reunion is what encouraged me to see this unknown film. However, the chemistry this couple had in My Big Fat Greek Wedding was lacking in this film. It was decent, cute and clean, so I wouldn't consider it a total waste of my time. The sad thing is, it had a fun storyline and therefore had the potential to be a lot better than it was. Genevieve, played by Nia Vardalos, is "afraid" of love and therefore sticks to a strict five-date plan so that the romance never dies and heartache never ensues. . . obviously this plan does not work when Genevieve finally meets someone she wants to have an actual relationship with and she is forced to face her fears. Check it out if you have nothing else to do; it's about as good as an afternoon tv movie. . . I get sucked into those tv movies all the time! :)

Scene It: The Twilight Saga Edition

I "Scene" It. . . multiple times.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon
starring: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner

This highly anticipated follow up to the first installment of the Twilight Saga did not disappoint. Just like Twilight, it failed to live up to the book, but still managed to give you a couple hours in the world of "Twilight." Team-Jacob fans will be especially pleased by this adaptation. Following closely to the book and infused with a lot of heart, I would say New Moon upped the ante for consecutive Twilight films and I hope to be even more impressed with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (due out this summer). If you're a girl anywhere from 13-100 or a guy with a romantic side and good imagination- you'll love this book series and enjoy these movies.

Tagline:
The Next Chapter Begins

Plot:
After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

Check out "Twilight" (the first installment of this literary and cinematic phenomenon) on DVD now!

Scene It

The movies I have "scene" most recently:

On DVD:

Duplicity

starring Julia Roberts and Clive Owen

Obviously, this movie was superbly acted. It was also delightfully complicated and kept me guessing until the end.

Tagline:
Outwit. Outspy. Outsmart. Outplay. Then get out.

Plot:
A pair of corporate spies who share a steamy past hook up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses.

In THEATERS:

The Stepfather

starring Penn Badgley and Dylan Walsh

This mediocre thriller is fun for a slight scare. This movie has the same feel as Disturbia, just not quite as good. There is no wondering "whodunit," just when will they do it again and how much snooping can you do without getting caught? I appreciate a good suspense movie even if it's not the best movie I've ever seen. Horror without the slashing is hard to find, but Stepfather accomplishes that.

Tagline:
This fall Daddy's home.

Plot:
Michael returns home from military school to find his mother happily in love and living with her new boyfriend. As the two men get to know each other, he becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand.

Couples Retreat

starring Vince Vaughn, Kristen Bell, and more

This movie had a great cast and because of that it was enjoyable and even funny at times. Although with such a hilarious cast, it fell short of being as "laugh-out-loud" funny as it could have been. I was willing to forgive this however, because it had a great message on marriage.

Tagline:
It may be paradise... but it's no vacation.

Plot:
A comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional.

The Invention of Lying
starring Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais

I usually like anything starring Jennifer Garner... however, my main comment for this movie is DON'T SEE IT! To start, this "comedy" wasn't funny (at all). Also, it was offensive. . . both in crude "humor" and to the Christian faith. It takes a lot for me to say I didn't enjoy much of anything about a movie- but, I'm saying that about The Invention of Lying.

Tagline:
In a world where everyone can only tell the truth... this guy can lie.

Plot:
A comedy set in a world where no one has ever lied, until a writer seizes the opportunity for personal gain.

The Box
starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden

The previews for this movie always intrigued me; the movie itself intrigued me as well. Set in the 70's, The Box makes you feel like you're watching an old mystery movie. . . it's not just the clothes and the cars that set the time period for the viewer; the music, the look of the film, and the all around feel makes it seem as though you've been transported to the 70's to see a movie. That was probably my favorite thing about this movie. It's more Sci-fi than I thought it would be, but not over the top. A clean, psychological thriller that confronts the true nature of humanity. The movie is wonderfully acted, but a little slow at times. It's possible that you will leave the film with as many questions as you went into it with, but it will really make you think. I enjoyed this film, but would probably say it is ultimately a movie that will be enjoyed dependant upon taste.

Tagline:
You Are The Experiment

Plot:
A small wooden box arrives on the doorstep of a married couple, who know that opening it will grant them a million dollars and kill someone they don't know.

don't take my word for it. . . scary movie night edition

if you're in the mood for a scary movie, now is the time to hit up the theater. . .
here are some of the current scary movies i have subjected myself to :)

The Final Destination: 3D

It seems you really CAN'T escape death! In this FINAL Destination, the story has not changed. A group of teens escape "death" and are therefore hunted by it for the rest of the movie. While the story itself has not veered much from the original, the characters are dying in new and gruesome ways. . . and you can see all the gore in high definition 3D. lol... are you excited? A cheap thrill that puts you a little too much into the action. . . i would have rather had car parts flying at my head than the human parts that i got (The 3D element was pretty much only used when a character was killed off). However, if you're up for the gore, a scary movie in 3D is "fun" (but don't take my word for it!) I just miss Devon Sawa as the main character :)

Sorority Row

The bonds of sisterhood are tested in this Scream/I Know What You Did Last Summer-type slasher flick. When a practical joke goes horribly wrong a group of girls find themselves faced with the dilemma of exposing their mistake or covering it up (they of course cover it up). Yet, 8 months later someone is back to remind them of the awful night. Is it their "dead" sorority sister back to get her revenge? I'm not telling. However, where twists are concerned, this movie barely had one. Basically it had all the elements of a slasher film: slashing, cheap boob shots, mediocre acting, a "whodunit?" storyline, a lot of screaming, and watching most of the movie with my hands over my eyes. However, I am into the classics. . . just be prepared for blood and boobs. oh, and don't take my word for it :)

Scene It

The movies I have "scene" most recently:

The Time Traveler's Wife

I have greatly anticipated this movie! Which made many people assume I'd read the book- but I didn't want to spoil the movie! My brother warned me that too high of expectations can ruin a movie... however, while this movie was not was I expected, it did live up to my expectations. The acting in this movie was phenomenal and it was beautifully sad and creative. My only complaint would be that there was too much time traveling and not enough of follow through on the main characters situations. However, it may be this way to be true to the book (which I wouldn't know because I haven't read it yet!) Either way, it's definitely worth seeing!

Post Grad

I loved this movie (and not just because I want to see almost any movie that throws in a Friday Night Lights' cast member)! A cute story about the important things in life and the struggles of life after college. But you don't have to be right out of college to enjoy this movie: it's a story about love, family, the decisions we make, and the people that really matter. Also, her family is hilarious (and not just because I LOVE Michael Keaton)! The only way you won't like this movie is if you're a little leery of "too happy" endings.

Bandslam

I went to this movie for one reason: to see the new New Moon trailer! Then I promised I wouldn't admit that I went to see it... however, it wasn't that bad. A really cute story with fun music for young teens . Besides the fact that someone needs to tell Vanessa Hudgins that singing isn't her forte, it was a decent movie.

District 9

I went into this movie knowing absolutely nothing (except that there were aliens in it)... in fact, I hadn't even seen a preview. However, I am easily entertained and figured an alien action flick would be fun at least. However, even without knowing much about this film- it was NOTHING like I expected. In fact, it was pretty much like a documentary on a third world country- but with aliens. I'm not saying the movie sucked- in fact, it was quite innovative and had an interesting story line. Not something I would run to see again, but I've never seen anything like it before- so "props" for creativity. Worth seeing once for something new and different.

don't take my word for it...

i LOVE movies! i see more than i should and am easily entertained. so, i call this latest segment on my "reel review" blog don't take my word for it...
I'll do my best to help you spend your hard earned $10 wisely next time you visit the movie theater, but if you don't like what i suggest- don't blame me! :)

Top Releases in theaters NOW:

1. The Proposal
I would say if you're looking for a movie to see in theaters right now, The Proposal should not be missed. It's hilarious, heartwarming, and realistic in its relationship progression. And for a change, the best/funniest parts of this movie weren't in the previews. So, if you thought it looked good from the previews, you're in for even more hilarity. And since I'm a girl writing this review, I have to say that Ryan Reynolds is charming and hilarious, but also gloriously naked [don't worry, nothing pornographic]. See this movie, you'll love it. But don't take my word for it...

2. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I'm always nervous about sequels. They tend to overcompensate a lacking story line with too much mindless action. Transformers did not make this mistake. My only complaint would be that the humor bordered on childish at times, while the language bordered on making this film not suitable for children. However, if you're in your 20's like me [or older], I wouldn't let any of that deter you from seeing this film. You may have seen Shia LaBeouf on my Top 10 Young Male Actors list (below); he definitely earns his keep in this film. Even Megan Fox didn't bother me in this movie; I loved it! So, if you're looking for an action packed movie with a strong plot line and top-of-the-line special effects that is entertaining for girls and guys... see Transformers 2. But don't take my word for it...

3. The Hangover
I have to say, I haven't been the biggest fan of the "R-Rated Comedy" phase that we're in. They tend to be over the top on language, sexual indiscretions, and crude humor. However, The Hangover did not make that mistake. It earned it's R-rating, but didn't push it. Not only was this movie hilarious, but it had an almost "thriller" like plot-line. Seriously, where did their friend Doug go?! Bradley Cooper [who I have been in love with for YEARS] finally is getting the recognition he deserves due to this film. Go see it and fall in love with him if you haven't already. These four guys were a phenomenal comedy quartet that you do not want to miss. My best advice for you: Don't watch the credits! If you wonder where all that nudity missing from this R-rated comedy is, you'll find it in the credits. The Hangover is one you can't miss; I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. But don't take my word for it...

4. The Ugly Truth
In the category of R-rated comedies, coming up right behind The Hangover is The Ugly Truth. Again, I'm not saying it's not inappropriate and littered with blush-worthy conversations. However, it pulls off being a romantic comedy and a bromantic comedy without being as over-the-top as Knocked Up. My advice to you girls: see it with a girlfriend you're completely comfortable with. While it's advertised as the "ugly truth" about men, women, and relationships, there is a classic click-flick hidden in there. The witty banter between the polar opposites played by Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler is wildly entertaining. But don't take my word for it...

5. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
If you have kids, this is a fun movie to see. Ice Age movies never disappoint. They are perfectly child appropriate, but entertaining for adults as well [in fact, the way kids movies are these days- you'll probably appreciate the jokes more than your kids do!]. But don't take my word for it...

6. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
I wasn't expecting to like this movie. It's more of a kids movie than Star Trek or Transformers, but still entertaining. Channing Tatum, as Duke, makes up in looks for what he lacks in acting skills and Sienna Miller was surprisingly convincing as The Baroness [and should think about dying her hair dark in real life!]. The action wasn't overdone, the flashbacks were a fascinating way to add depth and intrigue to the story line, and more than one "twist" caught me by surprise [i didn't see it coming!]... twists are always a good thing. But don't take my word for it...

CHEAP SEATS: Catch it before it's gone!!

1. Star Trek
Star Trek is currently at the cheap theaters and the best movie I've seen all year! You don't have to be a Star Trek fan to love this movie! J.J. Abrams [Felicity, LOST, Fringe, Cloverfield, MI3, etc] really outdid himself with this movie! Within the first 10 minutes, I was so emotionally invested and hooked on this movie that I didn't blink for the next 2 hours. If you haven't seen this yet, catch it before it leaves theaters! And then buy it when it comes out because you're gonna want to watch it again!

COMING SOON: I hope to take a look @ The Time Travelers Wife!
